She was predeceased by: her parents, James Felts Griffin and Marian Francis Griffin; and her siblings, Nancy Ann Griffin Fore and Virgil S. "Tinker" Abel, III. She is survived by: her husband Lonnie Mitchell Vaughan; her children, Amy Michelle Vaughan of Greenville, NC and Loren Christopher Vaughan of Franklin; and her grandchildren, Winston McCourry Vaughan and Gabrialla Francis Vaughan.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 6350 Center Dr., Suite 102, Norfolk, VA 23502.
