He was predeceased by: his parents, George Morris Boone and Ella Hall Boone; and his siblings, Virginia Carr, James Boone, Geddie Boone, Roscoe Boone, Melvin Boone, Ella Boone, Eloise Carmicheal, Georgia Mae Eakins and Mary Graham Monette.
He is survived by: his sons, Harry Boone (Sheila), Donald Boone and David Boone; his grandchildren, Stephanie Boone, Amy West, Donnie Boone, Jr., Jeremy Boone, Jennifer Reason, April Boone and David Boone, Jr.; his sister Loyce Floyd of Charleston, SC; and his great grandchildren, Krista West, Jayden Reason, Jacob Reason, Justin Reason, Ethan Smith, Jayvion Harris, Brandon Barner, Tommy Lee White III, Lillie Rose, Ja'Kayla Boone and Brooklyn Boone.
