She was predeceased by: her parents, Zacharia Trotman and Effie Louise White Evans; her husband Hubert Lowe; and her siblings, Lillie Saunders, Lonie Harrell, Pearl Harrell, Beulah Williams, Eleanor Byrum, Carey, Edward, Milton, Marvin, Roland and Alvin Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Lowe (Susan) and Roseland Evans Lowe Worrell (Donald); her grandchildren, Justin Worrell (Lisa), Joshua Worrell (Jennifer), Jeremy Lowe (Krystn) and Michelle Myers (Chris); her great grandchildren, Madison, Tyler Lowe, Ian Duffy, Kristen Miller, McKenna Myers, Kaitlyn, Abigail, Cameron and Chloe Worrell; her great great grandchild Juniper Miller; and her sister-in-law Thelma Gray Lowe Goodwin of Edenton, NC.
Mrs. Lowe, being a firm believer in giving back, donated her body to the Virginia State Anatomical Program with studies of the effects of Alzheimer's on the brain. Contributions in her memory may be made to Great Fork Baptist Church, 180 Great Fork Road, Suffolk, VA 23438.
