She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard Rogers and Burnie Turner Rogers; and her husband Hugh Adkins. She is survived by: her children, Kindergarten and Dr. Lillie Faison (Carl) of Boykins, Virginia; her sisters, Nettie Spencer of Richmond and Irene Jackson (James) of Hampton; and her sister-in-law Beulah Gholston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In keeping with the CDC's guidelines for COVID-19, the celebration of life service will be live-streamed on the Shiloh Baptist Church Facebook page, and facemasks are required at all in-person events.
