He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lee Story, Sr. and Ruby Gardner Story; and his sister Mary Ellen Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Cutchins Story; his daughters, Janelle Story and Dana Story; his siblings, Faye Story, Nelson G. Story and Hunter K. Story (Donna); his grandchildren, Matthew Collin Futrell, Christopher Story, Kaylan Leann Johnson (Scott Dixon), Brianna Kelsey Johnson (Davey Tyree) and Joshua Frank Johnson; his great grandchild Preston Cole Keeter; and his aunt Millie C. Baccus.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
