He is survived by: his children, Kay Kimbel Kitchen of Capron and Emerson Benjamin Kitchen, Jr. (Vivian) of Sebrell; his grandchildren, Lindsay Smith Angus (Kendall), Stefanie Kitchen Taillon (Jeff), Jordan Elizabeth Smith and Richard B. Kitchen (Katy); his great grandchild Avery Evelyn Taillon; his sisters-in-law, Carol Kitchen and Bettie Whitehead; his friend Joline Kickliter; and his caregiver Sharon Murphy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Newsoms United Methodist Church or a favorite charity.
