He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Parker Daughtrey, Sr. and Beulah Hare Daughtrey; his wife Brenda Bradshaw Daughtrey; and his siblings, Tommy, Pete, Raymond Daughtrey, Nell Story, Ann O'Brien, Gladys Atkins and Faye Turner.
He is survived by: his close friend Kelli; his daughter Armorel Catherine "Cathy" Goodman (Brad) of Oceanside; his grandchildren, Lauren Goodman Umlauf (Billy), Lucas of Naples, Dr. Jena Brooke Goodman of Cambridge, Massachusetts and Lisa D. Brinkley (Troy) of Norfolk; his great grandchild Alexander (Delaney) of Virginia Beach; his grandchildren, Grayson, Meghan and Landon of Norfolk, Virginia; his sister-in-law Dot Daughtrey of Carrsville; and also Cherry Bradshaw Brown (Clem) of Williamsburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Franklin Baptist Church, Franklin Cooperative Ministries and/or Franklin Habitat for Humanity to honor his service to the Franklin Community.
