She was predeceased by: her parents, Denvie Blanton Hundley and Mabel Daniel Hundley; her husband Harvey Arthur Hirsch, Jr.; her former husband Gerald Lee Duncan; her grandson Dustin Jacob "Dusty" Whitehurst; and her son-in-law Wamer Lewis Mayes, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Duncan Mayes and Becky Duncan Whitehurst; her grandchildren, Katie Joyner (Makinzie), Taylor Joyner and William Lewis Mayes; her stepdaughters, Nancy H. Brown (Phillip) and Linda H. Drake (Neil); and also, Emily E. Brown, Grayson D. Hasty (Dillon), William M. Brown, Jr., Emma C. Drake and Collins J. Hasty.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to Harvest Christian Fellowship Church, 27002 Smiths Ferry Road, Franklin, VA 23851 or the American Cancer Society.
