Dean Wagenbach Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dean Wagenbach of Franklin, Virginia, who passed away on January 7, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Otto and Nellie McFarlane Wagenbach; his girlfriend Betty Moore; his brothers, James Martin, Richard Charles and Garold Arvid; and his nephew Michael James Wagenbach.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Ann Wagenbach; his sister-in-law Paula Mercier Wagenbach; his niece Louise Ann Wagenbach; his nephew Joseph Martin Wagenbach; and his great-nephew Sean Michael of Warren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (206 W 4th Ave, Franklin, VA 23851). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the High Street United Methodist Church (31164 Camp Pkwy, Courtland, VA 23837).
In lieu of flowers, please consider carrying on Deano's legacy by supporting the local Franklin community, which includes dining at Fred's and bringing server Krystal candy, delivering coffee to Natalie at Mabel's Barber Shop, joining the Franklin Shag Club because Helen needs a new dance partner, and making a donation to Southampton Agriculture and Forestry Museum in Courtland, Virginia.
