We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2021, at the age of 46, Darrell Young Dunford of Franklin, Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Darrell Young Dunford to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Young Dunford of Chesapeake, VA; his sister Lora Ann Dunford of Portsmouth, VA; and his grandparents, Ida, Jack Dunford of Virginia Beach, Margaret and Tommy Matthews of Gates.
He is survived by: his mother Ann Dunford Ballard of Gates; his close friend Ryan Sawyer (Liz); and his godchildren, Landon, Jena Sawyer of Chester, VA and Spanky.
With the resurgence of the Covid Virus in the area, no formal visitation is being held; however, friends may visit at the family home in Gates, 1477 NC Hwy 37. Masks and social distancing measures are encouraged.
