She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Eugene Spence and Lillie Mae Warren Spence; and her husband William Alexander Phillips, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Brian Spence Phillips of Franklin; and her sisters, Linda Nash (Paul) of Greenville, NC, Pat Hedspeth of Raleigh, NC and Donna Griffin (Chester) of Franklin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
