He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Conrad and Sophia Carter Dey; his wife Gail McDaniel Dey; his children, Erin Pedersen (Rick) of Nashville, TN, Ron Dey (Keri) of Conway, AK and David Stewart (Carly) of Walters, VA; his sister Mary Cobb (Milford) of Suffolk, VA; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Pedersen, Kimberly Pedersen, Parker Dey, Peyton Dey, Emily James, Nicholas Stewart and Zachary Stewart.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a private family funeral with military honors will be held in Wright Funeral Home, with Mr. Andy Powers officiating.
