We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2023, at the age of 76, Carolyn Silver Joyner (Franklin, Virginia), born in Enfield, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Baker Silver and George Alvin Silver, Sr.; her spouse Willie Allen Joyner, Jr.; her aunt Earlene Owes; her uncle “Dickie” Owes; and her brother George Alvin Silver, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Crystal Alicia Joyner, Stacie Karen Joyner-Pettway (Phil) and Carolyn; her grandson Teague Julian Pettway; her siblings, Vincent Silver (Laverne) and Cheryl Silver Emmanuel (Michael); and her aunts, Claytea Baker Newby, Clementine Baker Ross, Lula Baker and Helen Hunter.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requests considering making a donation to Teague's college fund.
