She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ruben Adkins and Bernice Flythe Adkins; her children, Evangeline Harrison of Boykins, VA, Carolyn Goodwyn of Courtland, VA, Ruben Gholston (Sherida) of South Chesterfield, VA and Elder LaVern Goodwin (Bishop Henry) of South Chesterfield, VA; her grandchildren, Nathan Goodwyn, Shakita René Blow, Darryl Goodwyn, Lynette Johnson (Larry) and Justin Gholston; her great grandchildren, Darryl Goodwyn Jr., Logan Goodwyn and Zuri Johnson; and her sisters-in-law, Vashtire Peeples of Drewryville, VA and Rev. Mattie Sue Hackney of Philadelphia, PA. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
