Betty Louise Wolfe Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Louise Wolfe of Franklin, Virginia, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cecil Propst and Beulah Mable Propst (Hoover); her husband James Willis Wolfe; her daughter Wilma Lee Scott; her siblings, John Propst, Anna Lou Propst and Wanda Roberts; and her granddaughter Bonnie Mae Paynter.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Jean Paynter (Ed) of Franklin, Mary Lynn Alexander (Stanley) of Franklin, Brenda Kay Alexander (Rosco) of Franklin, Thelma June Wolfe of Franklin One and Daniel Ervin Propst (Shelia); her siblings, Hilda Moats (Albert) of McDowell, VA, Helen Raines of Franklin, Carolyn Propst (Allen Bussard) of Franklin Two, Arlie Propst and Bobby Propst (Rosa); her grandchildren, Travis Wolfe, Lori Swick, Brittany Alexander, Stephanie Florek, Laci Shreve, Nicole Arbogast, Nicholas Arbogast, Edward Paynter and James Wimer; her great grandchildren, Trevor Wolfe, Jacob Myers, Breanna Wolfe, Trey Florek, Harley Jones, Emma Jones, Jace Shreve and Addison Shreve; and her great great grandchildren, Nora Wolfe and Tucker Jones.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kimble Funeral Home (80 S Main St, Franklin, WV 26807). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel (80 S Main St, Franklin, WV 26807).
