He was predeceased by: his wife Hope Reams Jones; his siblings, Dr. Jack E. Jones, Doris Jones Bailey and Faye Jones Vermilya; and also Tyler Stout.
He is survived by: his children, Berry Allen Jones, Jr. (Pat) of Staunton, VA and Judith Jones Allen (John) of Roswell, GA; his grandchildren, Carla Jones Stout of Charlotte, NC, Kathryn Allen Crawford (Joey) of Marietta, GA, John Maxwell Allen, III of Atlanta, GA and Courtney Reams Allen of Brooklyn, NY; his great grandchildren, Luke Allen Stout (Amy), Cameryn Mae Stout, Noelle Hope Stout, Emerson Michael Allen, Callaway Hope Allen, Joseph Nesbitt Crawford, IV and Maxwell Jones Crawford; and his siblings, Bobby Jones (Darlene) of Elberton, GA, Jimmie Nelle Richardson (John) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Velma Jones Grizzle of Fort Mill, SC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
