She was predeceased by: her husband Orville Lee "Smokey" Hasenei; her parents, Pearly Edgar Modlin and Minnie Sue Taylor Modlin; and her siblings, Elizabeth Rich, Grace Keech, Pearl Juel, Hope Dodson, Evelyn Modlin, Minnie Boone, Clayton and Roland Modlin.
She is survived by: her children, Susan H. Vinson (Billy), Nancy H. Layman (Ritchie) and Wayne M. Hasenei (Robin); her grandchildren, William C. Vinson, Jr. (LeAnn), Christopher E. Vinson (Crystal), Heidi L. Vinson and Jacob L. Layman (Melissa); and her great grandchildren, Carson Vinson, Addison Layman and Cole Layman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Franklin Fire and Rescue Volunteers Fund, 100 S. Main St., Franklin, VA 23851.
