It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice Crumpler Fowler of Franklin, Virginia, who passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hertford Olinda Crumpler and Edna Mae Parker Crumpler; her children, Anna Lee Fowler, Genny Kirkpatrick and Claudie Fowler, Jr.; and her siblings, Mary Lois Warren, Martha Womble, Marvin, Melvin and Hertford "Dobbin" Crumpler.
She is survived by: her husband Claude Edward "Mickey" Fowler; her daughters, Glenda F. Scott (Scotty) and Sarah F. Wettig (Tim); her sisters, Lillian Gunn and Irene Bailey (David); her grandchildren, Rachel Heikens, Kendall Powell, Derek Powell, Kevin Kirkpatrick, Steven Fowler, Douglas, Tina Bradshaw, Lee and Jonathan Scott; and her great grandchildren, Maddison Cooley, Gabriel Powell, Mia Powell, Bentley Bradshaw, Becca Bradshaw and Dean Scott.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and suggests that memorial donations be made to Burdette Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
