She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Ronald Smith and Bessie Harrell Smith; and her son Kenneth Harold Stewart, Sr.. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tom Stewart (Ana) of Nathalie, VA, Tim Stewart (Tina) of Zebulon, NC, Chris Stewart, Jr. (Deborah) of Gates, NC and Stephen Stewart (Fancy) of Suffolk; her siblings, Frances Walker of Ohio, Ivan of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Allen Smith of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and her close friend David Mulrooney of Franklin. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
