She was predeceased by: her husbands, Carl Wingfield Diggs and Captain Vernon Grant White; her son Vernon Keith White; her grandsons, Michael Diggs and Cooper Diggs; and her pet Chippie.
She is survived by: her children, Carl Weldon Diggs (Gloria), James Lee Diggs, Brian White (Jenny) and Lisa Dameron (Jeffrey); and her close friend Eugene Daniels. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
