He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolla Mabry and Hazel Lovell Mabry; his wife Carol Ann Mabry; and his siblings, Jannie Belle Mabry, Ruby Lawson, Ann Fender, Beulah McPeak, Johnnie Mabry, Roy Mabry, Roby Mabry, Elmer Mabry and Cecil Mabry.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Mabry of Foster Falls, VA and Wayne Mabry of Roanoke, VA; his siblings, Inez Hodge of Barren Springs, VA, Junior (Kathy Mabry) and Mike (Donna Mabry); his granddaughter Ashley (Matt Finney); and his pet Max. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and many extended family & close friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Reese Funeral Home (2214 Austinville Rd, Austinville, VA 24312). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mabry Family Cemetery.
Although flowers will be appreciated, the family suggests that those who prefer may make memorial donations in memory of Abe to Carilion Hospice Services 707 Randolph St #251 Radford VA 24141.
