It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda J. Groger of Fort Valley, Virginia, who passed away on June 13, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hershel Steele and Carrie Steele; and her brother William "Billy" Galenski. She is survived by: her husband James Matthew Groger; her children, Angela Denise Groger (Jesse) of Sumerduck, VA and James Matthew Groger, II (Stephanie) of Chesterfield, VA; her grandchildren, Tylar Ashton Jayne of Fort Valley, VA, Mikaylah Ashlynn Groger of Sumerduck, VA, Jacob Aaron Groger of Somerset, PA, Lily Breanne Groger of Chesterfield, VA and Kailey Michelle Groger of Chesterfield, VA; and her sisters, Betty Robey of Falls Church, VA and Patsy Walker of Fair Oaks, VA.. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Wanda's memory to a humane society of the donor's choice.
