He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harry Corder, Sr. and Josephine Firmwalt; his wife Dorothy Corder; his siblings, Ann Andrick, Jean Perry and John; and his son Michael Eugene Corder, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Morris and Stacy O'Neal; and his stepdaughters, Jackie Keepers and Jo Ann Early. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and 3 step-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Fort Valley Museum, 8631 Fort Valley Rd, Fort Valley, VA 22652 - a local organization that Mike and Dorothy treasured.
