It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Elizabeth Plummer of Fort Valley, Virginia, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on June 9, 2023, at the age of 106, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Small and Grace Babcock Small; her husbands, George Elton Galley and Robert Plummer; and her sister Leora Bolsius.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Gardiner (Bill) and Lauren Kadel; her stepdaughter Lynne Watterson (Dave); her grandchildren, Michael Gillardi (Nancy), Deneene Boucher (David), Steve Kadel, Vicki Burner (Barry) and Andrew Watterson; and her pet Sonny. She is also survived by 10 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great, Great Grandchildren.
She lived through WWI, Spanish Flu Epidemic of 1918, the Great Depression, WWII, Polio Epidemic, Korean & Vietnam Wars, and the Covid Epidemic of 2020.
