He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry R. McClanahan and Lois A. McClanahan. He is survived by: his wife Janice Marie Williams McClanahan; his daughters, Lisa McClanahan Miller (Richard) of Bridgewater and Amy McClanahan Morrison (Jim) of Fort Valley; his grandchildren, Robert Miller of Richmond, Andrew Miller of Harrisonburg and Heather Morrison of Fort Valley; and his siblings, Patsy E. Foltz, Zane of Edinburg, Lowell S. McClanahan and Margaret of Winchester. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dry Run Chrisitan Church, St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, or the Fort Valley Fire Department.
