He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eva Marie Sexton Shallcross and Joseph Harrison Shallcross; his wife Carole Ann Poole Shallcross; his children, Eva Bates (Chris) of Arlington, Erica McLaughlin (Joe) of Dale City, Conley Shallcross of Fort Valley and Dusty Burgess; his siblings, Donna Jo Church, Jeffery Harrison Shallcross, Mark Douglas Shallcross, Deborah Marie Armstrong and Vanessa Lynn Eberle; his grandchildren, Cora Lee, Tyler James, Damien, Mackenzie, Jason, Riley, Ashton of Valkyrie, E. J. and Finnick; and his great grandchild Kehlani. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
