It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Howard Wright of Fort Defiance, Virginia, who passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Margaret, Earl Wright, Hazel and Solomon "Earl" Puffenbarger; his parents, Anita Fay and Howard Eugene Wright; and his brother-in-law Jeff Goldberg.
He is survived by: his uncles, Norman Puffenbarger and Carl "Butch" Puffenbarger; his wife Darlene Wright; his children, Jason Wright (Teresa) and Tiffany Severs (Chris); his grandchildren, Alexis, Landon Wright, Caleb, AnnaBelle and Charlotte Severs; his siblings, Lynne D. Wright of Harrisonburg, VA, Teri Wright Goldberg (late Jeff Goldberg) of Ruckersville, VA and Eric D. Wright (Elizabeth) of Austin, TX; and his son Adam. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and close friends.
