He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howard and Margie May Mitts Caricofe; his sisters, Margaret Huffman (Randy) and Shirley Parrish; and his brother-in-law Aggie "Sonnie" Selmon.
He is survived by: his children, Carl, Jr. (Whitney), Monique Houser (Coleman) and Stoney; his grandchildren, Michael Carciofe, Angela Startt, Heather Rubemaker, Casey Houser, Holly C. Thornton, Faith Caricofe and Stoney Lee Caricofe II; his great grandchildren, Dillon, Jacob Caricofe, Sarena, Sabian Butler, Madison Eavey, Ayden Thornton, Sydney, Zelda Caricofe, Alaina, Athena Riner, Charles, Anastasia and Brenna Rubemaker; his sister Betty Lou Selmon; his nephew Nathan Selmon; and his grandson Michael Caricofe.
