He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Roosevelt Turner, Sr. and Bertha Jones Turner; his wife Elizabeth Arnold Turner; and his sons, Danny and Lou Turner.
He is survived by: his grandson Daniel Waller; his children, Larry "Bull" Turner of Fort Chiswell, Ted Turner, III (Donna), Randy Turner (Kathy), Jamie Turner (Cyndi), Martha Sawyers of Fort Chiswell, Deborah Woodyard (Jim) and Lynn Sonner (Jimmy); and his caregiver Jo Clyburn. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great- great-grandchildren.
