He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Whisman and Ruth Whisman; his sister Janet Shupe; and his niece Monique Shupe. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Whisman of Fort Chiswell; his daughters, Stephanie Whisman of Roanoke and Cindy Grubb of Fort Chiswell; his granddaughter Addyson Simmons of Roanoke; his brother Doug Whisman of Vinton; and his siblings-in-law, Linda McBride of Marion, John Shupe of Marion, Carroll Robbins (Ann) of Sugar Grove and Richard Robbins (Shirley) of Rural Retreat.
Family and friends are asked to follow the COVID-19 Safety & Social Distancing Guidelines.
