It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Salling of Fort Blackmore, Virginia, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Flora Salling; his wife Charlotte KinKead Salling; and his children, Vickie Salling, Douglas Salling and Scottie Salling.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christel Rae Salling of Ft. Blackmore, VA and Tracy Caroline Grizzle (Elmer) of Ft. Blackmore, VA; his granddaughter Caroline Grizzle Powell (Rhett); and his great grandchild Zachary Krajewski. He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
