She is survived by: her daughters, Wilma Jennings of Gate City, VA, Mellisa Winebarger (James) of Hilton, VA, Teresa Hensley (Sidney) and Virginia Egan (David); her brother-in-law Allen Sexton (Kathy) of Ringo, GA; her grandchildren, Necole Short (Bill) of Kingsport, TN, Candance Williams of Gate City, VA and Brian Jennings (Myranda) of Gate City, VA; her great grandchildren, Emily, Brittany Williams of Gate City, VA, Chevy and Autumn Jennings of Gate City, VA; and her close friends, Victor and Loriene Finch. She is also survived by several step grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Gate City Funeral Home (136 Beech St, Gate City, VA 24251). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel (136 Beech St, Gate City, VA 24251). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cox Cemetery.
