She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Franklin Johnson (R. F.) and Nannie Tate Johnson; her siblings, G. A. Johnson and Helen; and her brother-in-law Ralph Smith.
She is survived by: her siblings, Clara Parman of Knoxville, TN and John Myron Johnson (Marie); her sister-in-law Bobbie Johnson of Fort Blackmore, VA; her nieces and nephews, Lou Ann Johnson of Charlotte, NC, Nancy Johnson, Katrina Smith-Toole of Johnson City, TN, Renita Probst (John), Verne Parman (Barbie) of Oak Ridge, TN and Benjamin Parman (Nikki); and her great-niece Hattie Johnson Robinson of Fort Blackmore, VA.
Due to COVID-19 and in consideration of the health and safety of others, private funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, February 14, 2021 in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the Gate City Funeral Home with Rev. Jackie Strickler McGowan officiating.
