It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julius Wesley Becton Jr. (Fort Belvoir, Virginia), who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Wesley Becton, Sr. and Rose Banks Becton; his wife Louise Thornton; and his siblings, Joe and Barbara.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley McKenzie (Tim), Karen Becton-Johnson, Joyce Best (Art), Renee Strickland (Frank) and Julius Wesley Becton III (Ingrid); his grandchildren, Rena, Robin, Kim, Chris, Jocelyn, Stephen, Amber, Michelle, Emily, Wesley and Sam; and his caregivers, Nana, Gina, Adwoa, Emelia, William and Derek. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and sister-in-law.
