Wilbur Carrington Whitten Jr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilbur Carrington Whitten Jr. of Forest, Virginia, born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on December 6, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur C. "Red" Whitten and Louise Poole Whitten; his wife Beverly Jean Whitten; and his siblings, Mary Lynn Whitten and Franklin Hardwell Whitten.

He is survived by: his children, Paul C. Whitten (Marnie) of Lynchburg and Jennifer A. Whitten (Michael McElheny) of Cleveland, OH; his brother Thomas P. Whitten of Beaufort, SC; his grandchildren, Tyler Whitten, Brandon Whitten, Hannah Knowles (Bryce), Avery Whitten and Andrew Whitten; and his great grandchild Colvin Knowles.
