It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vaughan Torian Davis Jr. of Forest, Virginia, who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vaughan Davis, Sr. and Lucille McFaden Davis Carwile; his grandparents, Andrew Clay, Sr., Lula Kirby Davis, Harvey Lee and Ella Wingfield McFaden; his brother Howard Lee Davis; his stepfather Arthur B. Carwile; his great-nephew Austin Brandon Chase; and his siblings, Margie McAllister (Rod), Mike Donnelly (Alice), N. C., Phyllis Runion (Jim) and Sandy Blankenship (Barry). He was also cherished by his siblings, he leaves behind many loved nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
