He was predeceased by: his mother Evelyn Mayberry. He is survived by: his father Robert "Ed" Mayberry, Sr.; his wife Deborah Mayberry; his son Bryan Fitz (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Hudson and Olive; his sisters, Teresa Lee (Doug), Donna Mayberry and Ellen Mayberry; his nephews, Dave Lee and Matthew Lee (JuliAnn); and his niece Josie Jones. He is also survived by brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory (427 Graves Mill Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Forest Baptist Church Cemetery (1313 2 Church Ln, Forest, VA 24551).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Forest Volunteer Fire Department, 1645 Thomas Jefferson Road Forest, VA 24551.
