With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maryland Levene Spencer of Forest, Virginia, born in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 13, 2024 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas McKnight and Frieda Quillen McKnight; her sister Francis; her brother-in-law Alvin Booth; her brothers, Dennis "Butch" McKnight and Thomas McKnight; and her daughter-in-law Karen Spencer.
She is survived by: her husband Bruce G. Spencer, Jr.; her sons, Bruce Spencer III (Denise) of Normal, Steven Spencer (Rhonda) of Taylors and Dennis Spencer (Michelle) of Forest, Virginia.; her siblings, Claude McKnight (Sharon) of Michigan, Robert McKnight of Michigan and JoAnne Hoffman (Austin) of Michigan; and her close friend Willow. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; along with Maryland's ten grandchildren; four grands-in-law; and two great-grandchildren.
