Though Marjorie Sue may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marjorie Sue touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Harold L. Willmington; and her parents, Charles Abner Ransom and Gladys Zimmerman Ransom. She is survived by: her son Matthew L. Willmington (Christine) of Lynchburg; and her grandchildren, Nathan P. Willmington, Carissa Hassett (Aaron) and Abigail Willmington.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Pate Chapel at Thomas Road Baptist Church (1 Mountain View Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
