It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Eugene Cumberland of Forest, Virginia, born in Butler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Leonard Cumberland and Jessie Brooks Cumberland. He is survived by: his wife Karon Slivinske Cumberland; his children, Amber Carpenter (Jared), Christopher Cumberland (Kelly), Benjamin Cumberland (Kati) and Bethany Cumberland; his grandchildren, Makayla Carpenter, Colton Cumberland and Jaslyn Cumberland; and his sister Phylliss Graham.

“I'm so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. Fifty years ago, Larry was a groomsman in my wedding to Valerie Kerlee in Ft. Worth Texas. Larry was also a fraternity brother in Delta Sigma Psi at Letourneau College, Longview, TX. Although we did not keep in contact over the years after graduation, I have thought about those days, and of all the good times we had many times. Rest Peacefully Brother.
