With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Marvin Epps of Forest, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2025 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Moses Epps and Leona Herdond Epps; and his former wife Sylvia Witt Epps. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Gervais Epps; his children, Derek Epps (Karen), Linda Cassell (Greg) and Lisa Bryant; his grandchildren, Taylor Bryant, Ashley Epps and Alex Cassell; his stepdaughters, Dorothea Burnett (Roger) and Michelle Wotzak (Rob); and his stepgrandchildren, Shelby Burnett, Henry Burnett and Kaia Wotzak.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Ecumenical Parish (40 Lakemount Dr, Moneta, VA 24121).
