He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Alex York, Sr. and Arabelle Woody York; his daughters, Pamela K. York and Susan Ann York; his sister Loretta York Torrence; and his half-brother Harold York.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Stansbery York; his daughters, Sheryl Marston (Jimmy) and Laura York; his grandchildren, Alex York, Jessica Curling (Daniel) and Megan Lacy (Michael); his great grandchildren, Brayden, Mason Curling and Emma Grace Lacy; his sister-in-law Doris Padgett; and his nieces and nephews, Susan Brooks (Barry), Debbie Hines (Linwood), Richard Torrence (Jill) and Darryl Padgett (Robin).
