He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hugh Irby and Willie Florence Bailess Irby; and his siblings, Reva, Odessa, Evelyn Irby, Vera Hall, Naomi McGhee, Robert, Hugh Paul, Timothy and Sam.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Coffey Irby; his children, Sharon Saunders (Donald), Donna Wiener and Kirk Irby (Sandra); his brothers, Dwight Irby (Debbie) of Thomasville, NC and Buck Irby of Gretna, VA; his niece Jennifer Mitchell; his nephew Terry McGhee; and his pet Cutie.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Concord Cemetery (523 Phoebe Pond Rd, Concord, VA 24538).
