He is survived by: his son Andrew (Tabitha) of Forest; his grandchildren, Blane Maddox and Allison Nelson (Garrett) of Lynchburg, VA.; and his siblings, Eleanor Dowdy of Monroe, VA, Shirley Foster of Monroe, VA, Vernie Angus of Waynesboro, VA and Thomas Maddox of Amherst, VA.
