It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dora Zanella Pavia of Forest, Virginia, who passed away on April 25, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Aldino Zanella and Italina Zanella (Bessi) of Framingham, MA.; her husband William Pasquale Pavia; her daughter Donna Pavia Gottuso; her son-in-law Robert B. Harris; and her siblings, Lawrence Zanella and Esther Mary Dell'Ollio.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Harris of Forest, VA, Robert, Beth Pavia of Medfield, MA, William, Diane Pavia of Rotonda, FL, Gloria Almond of Lynchburg, VA, Dean, Kathy Pavia of Forest, VA, Joseph and Mary Beth Pavia of Lynchburg, VA; her son-in-law Dennis Gottuso of Saint Cloud, FL; her friends, Sharon, Frank Gadarowski, Karen and Tanis Smith; and her pet Holly. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:45 PM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (3015 Roundelay Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
