He is survived by: his wife Mary Catherine Loftis Gammon; his children, Betty Jean Gammon of Ford, Russell O. "Rusty" Gammon, Jr. (Shandra) of Ruckersville and David Bryant Gammon; his grandchildren, Christopher Smith (Amy), Shawna Lamm (Corey), Brandon Adkins (Kristal), Lindsey Gammon (Kevin), David Gammon, Anthony Gammon and MacKenzie Gammon; his great grandchildren, Ayden, John Lamm, Weston, Layla Adkins, Alexis and Grant Smith; his siblings, Howard Gammon (Janet) of Providence Forge, Janie Wilkins (Carroll) of Darvills and Karen Bowen (Johnny) of Darvills; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Gammon of Providence Forge and Katherine Gammon of Henrico.
