He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Redd and Patty "Lelia" Redd; and his siblings, Richard Redd, Carol Mayton and Mildred Milliner.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lawson Redd; his children, Mary Louise Gouyer (Paul) of Amelia, Donna Ann Marker (Richard) of Ford and Jamie Redd (Stephanie) of Ford; his grandchildren, Cody Sage Gouyer, Bryan Allen Gouyer and Airis Elizabeth Redd; and his siblings, Homer Redd (Nancy) of Colonial Heights, Stuart Redd of Dinwiddie, Willie James Redd of Dinwiddie and Loretta Vandhitch (Charles) of Georgia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
