He is survived by: his children, Robin Johnston of San Francisco, CA and Scott (Ashley) of Sutherland, VA; his grandchildren, Anna Johnston of Summerville, SC, Cole Johnston of San Francisco, CA and Ramsey Lewis of Sutherland, VA; and his sister Betty Reese of Petersburg, VA..
