With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Williams Blackwell of Floyd, Virginia, who passed away on December 2, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Hazel Hylton Blackwell; his parents, Sherman Blackwell and Eula B. Martin; and his brother Rev. Robert Blackwell. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Blackwell; his sons, Charles Blackwell (Janice) and Matthew Blackwell (Kelly); his stepchildren, Lori Schantz (Dan) and Logan Boyd (Ciera); his grandchildren, Sage Blackwell, C. J. Flinchum, Dusten Flinchum, Mack, Krey Blackwell, Caleigh, Zachary, Caroline, Josiah Schantz, Anna and Henry Boyd; his sisters, Jane Shank, Ileda Shelor, Louise Hall (Thomas) and Mary Nolen (W. B.); his sister-in-law Pat Blackwell; and his stepbrother Fred Quesenberry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Red Oak Grove Cemetery.
