With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Ray Boyd of Floyd, Virginia, who passed away on March 14, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bill Boyd and Donna Stump; his father Curbie Boyd; his cousin Kendall Simpkins; and his grandson Caleb Gardner.
He is survived by: his mother Joan Boyd; his sister Julie McCann (Dale); his children, Daniel Adams (Courtney), Amanda Schumann (Edward), Jamey Avancini and McKenzie Rosenbaum (Mathew); his nephews, Justin Simpkins (Laurel) and Jonathan Ballinger (Brandy); and his grandchildren, Kayla, Sydney Avancini, Jacob, Luke, Rhaylee, Alice, Abigail, Wylder, Octavia Schumann, Austin Adams and Avery Rosenbaum.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gardner Funeral Home (202 E Oxford St, Floyd, VA 24091).
